While mindfulness doesn't have a mathematical equation, we can metaphorically express its key components as follows:

Mindfulness = (Present Moment Awareness + Non-Judgmental Attitude) ÷ (Rumination + Distractions)

Here's what each component of the metaphorical equation represents:

1. Present Moment Awareness: Direct your attention to the present moment, observing your thoughts, feelings, and sensations without dwelling on the past or worrying about the future.

   Distractions: Minimize distractions that take you away from the present moment. Stay focused on the here and now, rather than being preoccupied with unrelated thoughts or tasks.
